The Empowering Youth Workers for Peace project brought together passionate youth workers with a shared commitment to promoting peace, understanding, dialogue, and cooperation within their communities.
Erasmus+ supported the project, giving participants the chance to strengthen their knowledge and develop practical skills for addressing challenges, bridging social and cultural divides, and contributing to more peaceful and inclusive societies.
Youth workers for peace
Through interactive activities, non-formal education, teamwork, and intercultural exchange, youth workers for peace explored different approaches to peace-building. Additionally, they addressed conflict prevention, resilience, and community engagement.
The project also highlighted the important role youth workers for peace play in creating safe spaces for dialogue. It encourages young people to become active participants in their communities. By exchanging experiences and good practices, participants were able to learn from one another and develop new ideas that can be applied in their local contexts.
Beyond the training activities, the project helped create connections between youth workers from different backgrounds, strengthening international cooperation.
It also built a network of individuals committed to positive social change.
Through initiatives like Empowering Youth Workers for Peace, Erasmus+ continues to provide young people and youth workers with opportunities to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a more peaceful, resilient, and inclusive future.
