The Youth for Peace in the Mediterranean Sea (YXP) project continued its journey with an Evaluation and Validation Meeting in Sousse, Tunisia, bringing project partners and participants together to reflect on progress, exchange experiences, and strengthen the project’s impact.
The meeting provided an important opportunity to evaluate the activities implemented throughout the project, review the knowledge and tools developed, and validate the outcomes achieved through cooperation between participating countries.
YXP is an Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building in the Field of Youth project that aims to promote education for peace and peaceful coexistence across eight countries.
Through international cooperation and youth participation, the project focuses on developing new tools and approaches for youth professionals, helping them promote dialogue, inclusion, mutual understanding, and peaceful conflict resolution within their communities.
The initiative also empowers young people to actively contribute by developing participatory proposals for a more peaceful and inclusive Mediterranean. Their ideas, experiences, and perspectives are essential to building stronger connections between communities and creating sustainable approaches to peacebuilding.
The meeting in Sousse offered a valuable space for reflection, collaboration, and shared learning, while reinforcing the common commitment of all partners to continue promoting peace and empowering young people across the Mediterranean.
The project is co-funded by the European Commission and coordinated by Iniciativa Internacional Joven.
From Sousse to communities across the Mediterranean, we continue working together for peace, inclusion, and meaningful youth participation.
