In order to finalize the campaign of “We are all responsible: small steps make a change”, shopping bags were distributed during the Jdeideh- Bakaata Summer Festival in the Bakaata Coop and Tivoli Patisseries. The goal is to reduce the level of usage of eco-unfriendly nylon bags. Thanks to the municipality and the traders’ committee in Jdeideh- Bakaata for adopting this idea and launching it for the first time in Shouf and Lebanon. Also thanks to the dwellers and families for their encouragement and collaboration, and much thanks to the volunteering youth with the municipality and YDO for their activity and enthusiasm. N.B. We will be present Saturday and Sunday in the festival.
