Bringing people together is an important step toward building stronger, more connected, and inclusive communities. As part of an activity focused on social cohesion, volunteers from different NGOs came together in Beirut for a day of cultural discovery, interaction, and meaningful exchange.
Participants explored the National Museum of Beirut, where they had the opportunity to discover Lebanon’s rich history and cultural heritage. The experience continued with a visit to the Sursock Museum, providing another opportunity to connect through art, culture, and shared experiences.
Throughout the day, volunteers also participated in engaging group activities designed to encourage communication, teamwork, and cooperation. Coming from different NGOs and backgrounds, participants were able to exchange ideas, build new connections, and strengthen the sense of community among them.
The activity highlighted the importance of social cohesion and intercultural dialogue in bringing individuals and organizations closer together. By creating spaces where volunteers can meet, communicate, and learn from one another, we can contribute to communities built on mutual understanding, respect, and solidarity.
Together, we continue working toward stronger and more united communities in Lebanon.
